Senior Software Developer (m/f/d) C++ Test Automation

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a
Senior Software Developer (m/f/d) C++ Test Automation
for ourselves and our customer at the Ulm location, in permanent employment and full-time (35h/week).
Responsibilities
- Software Development & Architecture: You will develop driver software in accordance with internal standards as well as independent tools and support software.
- Requirements Engineering: You will precisely implement internal and external requirements into module functionalities and create design and test specifications.
- Refactoring: You will take over the redesign of complex software modules (e.g., for functional changes).
- Quality Assurance: You will actively participate in code reviews, analyze complex system malfunctions, and sustainably resolve errors.
- Interface Work: You will conduct technical discussions with the relevant departments and cleanly document your results.
Qualifications
- Education: Successfully completed studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a comparable qualification.
- Programming Skills: Sound experience in object-oriented software development with C++ and in using modern version control systems (e.g., GIT).
- Experience in Test Environment: Several years of experience in developing test systems or in test automation.
- Ideal Addition: Experience with the NI toolchain (e.g., NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand) is a plus – or the willingness to familiarize yourself with it.
- Measurement Technology Know-how: Good knowledge of analog and digital measurement technology, and ideally in high-frequency measurement technology (e.g., S-parameter measurement).
- Languages: Good German and English language skills.
