Senior Software Developer (m/f/d) C++

Your Responsibilities

Within a small team, you will independently develop modules and applications to support automated and manual securities trading and will be responsible for our existing in-house software.

You will develop reliable, performant, and scalable solutions for internal problem areas in trading, back office, analysis, and simulation.

You will work on applications for processing and transmitting stock exchange data. In doing so, you will deal with aspects such as performance, multithreading, client-server systems, and network communication.

You will take responsibility for existing applications, support them during ongoing operation, and continuously develop them further.

For the optimal implementation of your tasks, you will work closely with users from the business departments and familiarize yourself intensively with our internal trading processes.

Our Requirements

A completed degree in computer science or a related field, as well as several years of professional experience in software development.

Excellent practical knowledge of modern C++ and the C++ standard library, as well as experience with Boost libraries.

Initial experience with C# and .NET, as well as an interest in further developing your knowledge in this area.

Knowledge of network communication and in the development of client-server systems.

Confident handling of multithreading.

Creativity and initiative in developing solutions for new problems as well as in planning and implementing projects.

Interest in developing software for the financial sector and the willingness to familiarize yourself with the processes in securities trading.

Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
