About Us
We are a startup from Hannover developing an AI-powered computer vision platform for industrial quality inspection. Our full-stack applications are in production with industrial clients and cover everything from data management and annotation to model training and deployment. An engineering team of around 20 people awaits you, with modern work structures and short decision-making processes.
Your Responsibilities
Responsibility and further development of our backend services: REST APIs, SQL, database migrations
Conception and support of our Identity and Access Management (SSO, roles, permissions)
Design of our cloud architecture: Kubernetes, containerized deployments, S3-compatible object storage, CI/CD pipelines
Responsibility for our production systems: Monitoring (OTel), incident response, and reliable operation of critical infrastructure at our clients
Code reviews, teamwork, and active participation in shaping our agile development process from planning to release
Your Profile
At least 4 years of professional experience in software development with sound expertise in backend and databases
Practical experience in operating production systems: Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, on-premise and cloud
Experience in agile collaboration and working with tools like Linear, Jira, or comparable solutions
Proficiency across the entire stack: You debug APIs, review infrastructure changes, and discuss architectural decisions
Pragmatic and independent working style and self-responsibility
Fluent German and good English skills for professional daily work
Desirable
Experience with computer vision, ML platforms, distributed computing, or data-intensive systems
Experience with identity providers and API security
