Senior Software Support Engineer (f/m/d)

The current requirement is for a Senior Software Support Engineer with the following profile:

• Problem solver: Support for problems when the 1st level support no longer progresses – from software errors to hardware failures to network problems, then you take care of the cause analysis
• System and network expert: Server maintenance, network error correction (e.g. firewall, VPN) and user and customer account management (permissions, guidelines)
• Team player: You foster close cooperation with colleagues from support and operations, handle escalations of problems and establish better support processes
• Dokumentation: You keep our knowledge up to date and actively contribute to the improvement of our internal processes
• Take responsibility: You go ahead as a senior and are the point of contact in the team

Requirements:

• You bring at least 3 years of experience as a Support Engineer or in a comparable role in the software enterprise environment with
• You convince with your technical know-how, especially in the areas of Windows, macOS and Linux (including server environments)
• You have a solid understanding of network protocols, IP addressing, subnetting and tools for error correction and have basic knowledge of data management
• You bring a hands-on mentality and have a good understanding of SaaS platforms
• You possess good analytical skills and do not lose sight even in stressful situations
• You possess very good German and English language skills. Oral and written at least C1 level
