Why this role is important

In the context of increasingly complex customer projects related to software, we are strengthening our team with a Senior Software Integration Engineer based in Lille. You will take the lead on software development for specific functionalities on deployment projects, structure monitoring, coordinate and participate in developments, and act as the link between clients and other project teams.

Your missions

• Lead software development for specific functionalities on customer deployment projects, from specification to handover to Operations teams.

• Develop and share software progress reports with the project team, highlighting risks and opportunities.

• Lead and facilitate functional analysis workshops to understand client needs and propose software solutions.

• Write software specifications for developments.

• Organize, contribute to, and monitor the development of programs and software interfaces between Exotec's WES, the Client's WMS, and equipment.

• Mentor Software Integration Engineers during the project development phase.

• Oversee tests, simulations, and integration campaigns.

• Ensure the handover of developed functionalities to operational teams.

• Provide support to operational teams during client site installations.

• Participate in the continuous improvement of the service.

Requirements

• Engineering degree, Master's degree, or equivalent training.

• Approximately 5 years of experience, including software development coordination, software integration, technical project management, or similar responsibilities.
• Experience or strong aptitude for WMS/WES environments, warehouse automation, logistics systems, or industrial software.
• A good level of English to operate in an international and client-facing context.
• Structured thinking, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage conceptually complex subjects.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust, explain constraints, and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
