Senior Software Engineer

About the Role: As a Low-Code Developer (OutSystems), you will be part of our growing engineering practice thats enabling rapid delivery of business applications across Stolt-Nielsen. Youll use OutSystems and potentially other low-code platforms to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade applications that are robust, scalable, and maintainable. Our OutSystems landscape consists of business- and mission critical applications, at the heart of our business. You will work closely with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective, efficient, and user-friendly solutions. You will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design, to development, testing, and deployment. What You’ll Do: * Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable applications using the OutSystems platform. * Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather and understand requirements. * Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement them using OutSystems. * Develop and maintain APIs and integrations with other systems. * Conduct thorough testing of applications, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing. * Troubleshoot and debug applications to identify and resolve issues. * Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. * Stay up-to-date with the latest OutSystems features, best practices, and industry trends. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and methodologies. * Document technical specifications, code, and other relevant information. What You’ll Need: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * 5+ years of experience in software development. * 3+ years of experience with the OutSystems platform. * Strong understanding of the OutSystems platform, including its architecture, features, and best practices. * Experience in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade applications using OutSystems. * Experience with web services (REST, SOAP). * Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle). * Experience with Agile development methodologies. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * OutSystems certifications are a plus.
