Senior Software Engineer, ScamShield

Open Government Products (OGP) is an experimental technology team within the Singapore Government. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of our engineering team that designs, develops, tests, and deploys software products for the Singapore Government. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Designing, developing, testing, and deploying software products in collaboration with cross-functional teams. • Collaborating with product managers to define product requirements and develop technical specifications. • Developing and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and secure software systems. • Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues. • Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the growth of our engineering team. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software development. Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • At least 5 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on building scalable and secure systems. • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript. • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
