Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d)

As a Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d) at Modell Aachen GmbH, you will significantly shape the implementation of new features in our web-based software Q.wiki. You will work closely with Product Management and UI/UX Design in a small track team.

Our 20-person team currently consists of Cloud Engineering, Software Engineering, UI/UX Design, and Product Management. We prioritize equal opportunities, transparently live and take responsibility for our actions. We have already built up some know-how and are happy to share it, but we are just as eager to learn from your experiences.

Your Tasks

• You will work in an agile environment on new features and the improvement of existing components of Q.wiki.
• You will integrate code automatically tested using CI/CD with direct impact for more than 1,000 customer systems.
• You will help make Q.wiki a usability pioneer in corporate software and bring your knowledge to keep the platform performing worldwide.
• You will share our enthusiasm for modern software engineering, continue learning, and bring impulses into the team.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a similar education (e.g. MATSE)
• Flooding German language skills in writing and speaking (at least C1)
• Multiple years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Multiple years of experience with TDD
• CI/CD are lived principles or goals
• Code reviews and Pair Programming are self-evident for you
• Domain-driven Design is a fundamental principle - experience with it would be desirable, but not necessary
• We develop functionally; this should not deter you
• Our local development environments will be orchestrated using Kubernetes; you may already have experience with this or want to build knowledge here
