Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d) – Backend (TypeScript)

Your Tasks

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work directly with the Head of Engineering and closely with the founding team to further develop the 7Assets platform.
You will actively participate as a sparring partner and follow an architectural guideline - fitting into a team that operates according to the principles of Domain-Driven-Design and Clean Architecture. You will build new product areas (APIs, features), develop existing systems further, and take technical responsibility for features.
You will ensure high code quality, testing best practices, and production stability.

Your Profile

Technical:

• Multiple years of experience with TypeScript on a senior level
• Understanding of Dependency Injection and Event-driven Architecture
• Experience with production operation and debugging
• Testing and monitoring are self-evident for you, not tedious duties
• Openness to AI tools in development (Claude Code, Copilot etc.)
• Experience with NestJS, PostgreSQL, and RabbitMQ is a plus

Work Style & Formalities:

• Business problem before technology - code is means to an end
• Proactive communication: you speak up early about problems, and when unclear, come with concrete solution proposals
• Ownership instead of ticket processing - you drive things forward independently
• Team-oriented and collaborative
• Very good German knowledge (at least C1)
• Availability for at least 3 days a week on-site
