We are looking for a senior software engineer without pilot? U-boats without captain? AI that makes decisions in the battlefield? Our Defense Metaverse is leading in simulating AI tactics for the battlefield.

To strengthen our development team, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d) with profound knowledge in C++, Artificial Intelligence, and containerized software architectures. You will develop high-performance, robust software solutions and bring your experience to challenging projects with high technological demands.

Aufgaben

• Development, further development, and maintenance of complex software solutions in C++
• Conceptualization and integration of KI-based components (e.g. Machine Learning, data-driven algorithms)
• Implementation of high-performance and maintainable software architectures
• Use of Docker for containerization, build, and deployment of applications
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams from software development, data science, and system engineering
• Analyzing technical requirements and deriving suitable solution approaches
• Ensuring code quality, maintainability, and performance
• Participation in architecture, design, and technology decisions

Qualifikation

• Degree in Informatik, Software Engineering, Mathematik, Physik or equivalent qualification
• Multiple years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, ideally at the senior level
• Very good knowledge in C++ (modern standards are advantageous)
• Practical experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
  (e.g. model integration, inference, data-driven algorithms)
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Safe handling of Linux-based development environments
• Understanding of modern software architectures and interfaces

Von Vorteil

• Experience with Python in the AI field
• Knowledge in build systems, CI/CD or cloud/on-prem deployments
• Experience with distributed systems or high-performance applications
