Senior Software Engineer

The client is Agile enough to follow other methodologies as well as customizing a hybrid development methodology that suits their project's requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software applications using various programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. They should have experience in working with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB. Additionally, they should be familiar with Agile development methodologies, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall. The ideal candidate will also have experience in working with version control systems like Git, SVN, or Mercurial. Furthermore, the ideal candidate should have knowledge of cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or IBM Cloud. They should be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate will also have experience in working with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, or Ansible. In addition, they should have knowledge of security best practices and compliance regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS. They should be able to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to complex problems. The ideal candidate will also have experience in working with various operating systems like Windows, Linux, or macOS. They should be able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of software development life cycles, including planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement. They should be able to identify and mitigate risks associated with software development projects. The ideal candidate will also have experience in working with various programming paradigms like object-oriented, functional, or procedural programming. They should be able to write clean, readable, and maintainable code. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and acceptance testing. They should be able to design and implement automated tests using frameworks like JUnit, PyUnit, or NUnit. They should be able to design and implement database schema, write SQL queries, and optimize database performance.
