We are recruiting for multiple organizations in parallel: product and software houses as well as companies with their own application development. The specific stack, industry, and the degree of product versus in-house development vary. If you can work fullstack or are strong in one layer and can confidently contribute to the other, a conversation is worthwhile.

Responsibilities

• You develop applications end-to-end: from the user interface, through services, interfaces, to data storage and AI implementation, depending on the team, with a clear focus on one layer.
• You work independently within the team, coordinate with Product, UX, and adjacent development teams, and translate functional requirements into maintainable software.
• You further develop technical foundations: architecture, components, tests, documentation, and collaboration in the delivery process.
• You utilize modern development practices and, where sensible, AI-supported tools, without losing sight of quality and traceability.
• You contribute to the design of user interfaces, build or maintain reusable UI components, and ensure clear user guidance.
• You share knowledge, support colleagues, and develop professionally with the team.
• The working method is team-oriented, often agile, with room for pairing, reviews, and suggestions for self-improvement. The exact framework depends on the employer.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in software development, ideally several years with responsibility for features across frontend and backend. A clear focus with a solid second layer is sufficient.
• Proficient practice in at least one modern backend & frontend environment, for example, Java & TypeScript with a common framework, or a comparable stack.
• Understanding of maintainable architecture, automated tests, and traceable documentation.
• Curiosity about new technologies, including AI in everyday development, without blindly adopting every hype.
• Team orientation and the willingness to share knowledge.
• Good German language skills; English is an advantage in many teams but not mandatory everywhere.
