Within your role as Software Engineer, you won't be working on a static application, but on a continuously evolving cloud platform with a diversity of functionalities. Together with your team, you are responsible for the heart of the IXON Cloud: from complex authorization structures to a seamless user experience. The goal? To enable our customers to perform their management processes as efficiently as possible.

To achieve this, you will work with a modern tech stack that includes Angular and TypeScript, among other technologies. You will have the freedom to actively participate in decision-making regarding technical choices that ensure our applications not only run fast and smooth today, but also remain scalable and maintainable in the long term.

What you will concretely do: 

• You take responsibility and ensure your high-quality code;

• You are a sparring partner for your colleagues and to elaborate on features technically;

• You enjoy taking our front-end delivery process to a higher level, in the areas of observability, testing, and deployment 

• You will be given space for PoCs and research spikes to validate the latest technologies for our platform.

This will make you successful in this role 

You are a Software Engineer who believes that an interface is only truly good when the logic behind it works flawlessly. Frontend is your passion, but you also understand what happens in the backend. This makes you an important link in our multidisciplinary Scrum team. You work iteratively, learn from feedback, and constantly strive for improvement. Moreover, you inspire your colleagues by sharing best practices and growing together.

Additionally, it would be great if you recognize yourself in the following list: 

• You possess a WO (higher professional education) work and thinking level

• At least 5+ years of relevant work experience; 

• Strong knowledge of Typescript and Angular or a comparable framework;

• You have a strong affinity with User Experience and understand how a user navigates through an application;

• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.

• Knowledge and/or experience with Python and Docker.
