ADEAL Systems is a specialized IT consulting company with its headquarters in Neu-Isenburg. We develop individual software, data, and analytics solutions for demanding customer projects.

To strengthen our experienced team, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer Data & Cloud / Senior Data Engineer (m/w/d).

In this role, you will take technical responsibility for complex data and software solutions. You will work independently, think architecturally, and support us in implementing robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions for our customers.

We are looking for an experienced technical person who not only develops but also understands requirements, works out solution concepts, and participates in project implementation.

Aufgaben

• Eigenständige Entwicklung und Weiterentwicklung von Softwarekomponenten im Bereich **Data Engineering, Analytics und Cloud**
• Konzeption, Aufbau und Optimierung von **Datenpipelines, Schnittstellen und datengetriebenen Anwendungen**
• Mitarbeit an Architekturentscheidungen, Datenmodellen und technischen Lösungskonzepten
• Umsetzung cloudbasierter Daten- und Softwarelösungen auf Plattformen wie AWS, Azure, GCP oder OCI
• Analyse komplexer technischer Anforderungen und Überführung in robuste, skalierbare und wartbare Lösungen
• Arbeit mit relationalen und/oder NoSQL-Datenbanken
• Qualitätssicherung, Testing, Code Reviews und technische Dokumentation
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Kunden, Projektteams und internen Ansprechpartnern
• Fachliche Unterstützung weniger erfahrener Kollegen im Team

Qualifikation

You bring fundamental experience in several of the following areas and can quickly adapt to new technical environments.

PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE with at least one major cloud provider like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is expected.

In addition, you ideally bring several of the following points:

• Multiple years of experience in software development and/or data engineering
• Very good knowledge of **Java / Java Enterprise**, **Spring**, **REST**, **XML** or Web Services
• Good to very good **SQL-Kenntnisse** as well as experience with relational databases
• Experience with data pipelines, interfaces, data integration or analytical applications
• Experience with **Python**, **Unix/Linux Shell** or similar tools is advantageous
• Understanding of software architecture, e.g. Multi-Tier-Architekturen, Microservices or Design Patterns
• Safe handling of development tools like **Git**, **Maven**, Jira or similar tools
• Experience with Big-Data-Technologies, modern data platforms or cloud-near architectures is advantageous
• Structured, analytical and self-responsible working style
• Able to understand technical requirements, develop solution proposals and implement them
• Experience in agile working methods like Scrum or Kanban
• Experience in customer projects or IT consulting is advantageous
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Natural Sciences or a comparable practical qualification
• Very good German language skills and good English language skills

Work Model

We work hybrid.

One day per week is reserved for coordination, teamwork, and project coordination on site at our office in Neu-Isenburg near Frankfurt am Main. On the other days, you can work flexibly remotely.
