Senior Software Engineer C++/C# for Distributed Systems (m/f/x)

Responsibilities:

• You will design, develop, and optimize software modules in C++ and C# within a distributed system landscape on Windows and Linux systems.
• You will implement high-performance communication interfaces, for example based on gRPC, utilizing modern asynchronous programming models.
• You will develop stable and performant applications using multithreading and concurrency concepts.
• You will ensure high maintainability, quality, and extensibility of the code through the targeted use of design patterns.
• You will connect relational databases, optimize data structures, and develop automated unit and integration tests.
• You will actively participate in an agile Scrum team, conduct code reviews, and support the technical elaboration and estimation of user stories.

Qualifications:

• You have completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical field or training.
• You have in-depth experience in software development with C++ and C#.
• You are familiar with distributed systems, asynchronous programming, as well as multithreading and concurrency.
• You have practical experience with gRPC (or comparable technologies), relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL, as well as design patterns.
• You work confidently with Git/GitLab, Jira, and have experience in agile development environments. Knowledge in the area of mobile communication technologies is a plus.
• You are a team player with a desire to shape things, you proactively drive topics forward, and you enjoy discussing and further developing technical solutions together. Even in a dynamic environment with changing requirements, you keep an overview and approach challenges in a solution-oriented manner.
• You have fluent German skills and good English skills.
