Job description
As a senior software engineer, you will contribute to defining and supporting the technical direction of technological initiatives and data within the organization. In close collaboration with the Product Owner and Technical Responsible, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers and analysts, with end-to-end responsibility for developing and implementing innovative technological solutions and data-based strategies to promote growth and efficiency in activities.
Team Description
The Technology – Capital Markets and Factorial Placement team is divided into two groups. The Systematic Strategies Group (SSG) technology team leads a multi-year modernization initiative. It develops a new order capture and position management system, which will be used by several funds of the OIRPC. Thanks to a cloud-first approach on AWS, the use of modern web application stacks, and the application of DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code best practices, the team delivers resilient, performant, and evolving platforms, enhancing transaction efficiency and position supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and support end-to-end technological solutions in an Agile environment, collaborating with business teams and technology partners.
- Foster technical excellence and continuous improvement by guiding team members and influencing engineering practices across the organization.
- Apply advanced understanding of the technological environment and its implications on business capabilities, guiding others in their reflection.
- Encourage agility and innovation through experimentation and rapid feedback to respond to evolving needs.
- Structure problems clearly, engage the right collaborators, think deeply about large issues, and obtain solid recommendations.
- Lead root-cause analysis involving multiple teams.
- Apply Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles and assume associated responsibilities.
- Promote collaboration and mentorship to create a culture of feedback, learning, and professional growth.
- Maintain strong relationships with business teams, technology partners, and suppliers.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives.
- Promote Agile values to improve productivity and quality of delivered products.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure a well-prioritized and aligned backlog.
