Job description
The Shopping App is looking for a Back-end Software Engineer based in Paris.
Decathlon deploys its Shopping App in nearly 40 countries and achieves hundreds of millions in revenue. Our challenge is to maintain a rating of 4.5/5 while satisfying our growing user base. We want to become the preferred mobile application for customers looking for sports products by offering them an incredible, personalized, and sustainable shopping experience. To achieve this, we continue to improve our in-app services to offer the best possible experience to our customers. Increase user acquisition and retention.
YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION
- You join one of the team's features and contribute and share your expertise within the feature and the guild to design the Back For Front (BFF) for Android and iOS applications
- As a true technical point of reference, you ensure code quality within the team through good development practices (code review, pair programming, etc.)
- You are proactive within the teams to help resolve complex problems.
- You radiate technically through your expertise and are capable of making impactful technical decisions for the company and implementing them operationally.
- You are involved in our mobile community of GDEs, GDGs, and certified experts.
- You design intuitive, stable, scalable, secure applications with continuous deployment.

- You have at least 5 years of experience in back-end development in a similar role.
- You have mastered git and GitHub.
- You have a good command of software development best practices (clean architecture, design patterns, testable code).
- You enjoy working in a team, learning every day, and reinventing yourself within an environment that promotes people, talent, and decision-making.
- You like collaborating and challenging your developments through code reviews or pair programming.
- You have mastered English (B2 level), which you use daily to communicate with your teammates or partners.
