Senior
Hybrid and Mobile
Package: between 66-76k€
Who are we?
Artefact is a European leader in Data and AI consulting. Present in 24 countries with 1,800 employees, including 200 technical profiles in Paris, we deploy tailor-made technical solutions for major global groups across all key sectors of the economy – industry, retail, luxury, consumer goods, health, finance. Committed pioneers, we promote ethical AI through our Research Center in Paris and Shanghai.
Why join us?
You want to be at the heart of the ongoing AI revolution and don't want to miss the wave.
You want to work on GenAI use cases, or design architectures where language models are no longer an end in themselves, but a component among others: orchestrated, evaluated, controlled. On a daily basis, you yourself use coding agents to go faster and better. Not as a gadget, but as a real productivity lever, integrated into your way of working.
You are not here to carry out POCs. You are here to solve problems that few Software Engineers have yet had to face.
Our Software Engineers are the trusted developers and architects for our clients, working on cutting-edge issues. They are involved in strategic missions such as building robust Data Platforms on GCP or developing complex architectures for Agentic Platforms.
Tired of working on the same data pipeline for two years? Here, you frequently change sector, technology stack, and strategic challenges, while capitalizing on each acquired experience.
If you are looking for a position where you will be doing the same thing in a year, look elsewhere! At Artefact, each new mission is an opportunity to develop skills on a new technology stack or a new business sector.
You want to join a career accelerator in Data and AI.
Joining our team means becoming part of a community of Software Engineers who share their feedback, what worked on missions and what didn't work so well. Thanks to our internal rituals (Tech Talks, Guilds, End-of-Mission Feedback), every problem solved by a colleague becomes a skill acquired for you. You learn three times faster, surrounded by other experts who share the same mindset.
The challenges you will work on
Here are examples of real problems our teams have handled in the last 12 months:
- Deploy a multi-agent chatbot integrated into the main website of a car manufacturer to assist visitors in choosing a vehicle
We deployed a LangGraph multi-agent solution in production to serve several countries using a scalable architecture on Kubernetes. The solution, framed by safeguards, answers visitors' questions about the different vehicle ranges, services, and available offers. - Modernize an analytical database to Snowflake
We designed a Medallion data architecture replacing our client's legacy system, ensuring data quality during migration and using infrastructure as code to manage the provisioning of objects and permissions in Snowflake.
What you bring
Mindset
- Ingenious, you love solving complex problems and have the right intuition to tackle any kind of technical subject.
- Curious, you dislike routine and are constantly staying updated to enrich your tech culture.
- Kind, you are committed to your team's growth by providing constructive feedback and guiding each member's progress, particularly through formative code reviews.
- Demanding, you are responsible for the quality of code and deliverables. You like well-done work.
- Persuasive, you have strong technical convictions and know how to defend them in a pedagogical manner.
Technical specializations sought (1 minimum)
Our Software Engineers adapt to our clients' technical stack. Nevertheless, here are some examples of our preferred technologies that we often use on missions: Python, FastAPI, dbt, LangGraph, Docker, Terraform, Cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure)...
In addition to classic fundamentals, here is the list of specializations we are looking for:
- Analytics Engineer
- Software Developer
- Site Reliability Engineer
- Cloud Architect
- AI Engineer
