Senior Software Engineer AI & Automation (m/f/d)

You develop productive software solutions that automate business processes, make data usable, and support employees in their daily work. You combine profound software engineering with modern AI technologies to develop scalable applications with real added value for our business units:

• Development of production-ready software, AI, and automation solutions – from idea to go-live
• Conception and implementation of intelligent applications, AI agents, and assistance systems based on modern LLM technologies
• Development of robust backend services, APIs, and frontends for the integration of internal and external systems
• Analysis of existing business processes and identification and implementation of meaningful automation and digitization potentials together with the business units

What you bring 

• Several years of experience in professional software development
• Very good programming skills in Typescript and experience with modern software architectures
• Experience in the development of backend services, APIs, and the integration of different systems and data sources
• Practical experience with AI technologies such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LangGraph, or comparable frameworks
• Solid understanding of RAG systems, embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, Testing, and the use of Docker and Cloud technologies
  Experience in building productive software solutions beyond prototypes and proof-of-concepts
• Structured and independent way of working and enjoyment in solving complex technical challenges
• German and English at least at B2 level

• Experience with Machine Learning beyond the use of LLMs (e.g., model training, classification, or forecasting)
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio or the Power Platform
• Experience with ERP, CRM, PIM, or E-commerce systems (especially SAP)
• Experience with Process Automation and Workflow Orchestration
