This awaits you:

• Development of real-time capable software architectures for high-precision control and positioning systems in semiconductor manufacturing equipment

• Hands-on development with C#, C++, and WPF for industrial equipment control and user interfaces

• Development and optimization of motion control systems as well as interfaces between software, hardware, and equipment components

• Design of high-performance automation APIs and communication interfaces with gRPC and Protobuf

• Setup of automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, and development and simulation infrastructures for reliable software releases

• Technical leadership of interdisciplinary development teams, including code reviews, architectural decisions, and knowledge transfer

• Collaboration with hardware, physics, and process development on prototypes and semiconductor-specific equipment concepts

What you should bring:

• Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or comparable qualification

• Several years of software development experience with C#, C++, .NET, and WPF in complex technical systems

• In-depth knowledge of Motion Control, precision positioning, real-time requirements, and deterministic system behavior

• Experience with gRPC, Protobuf, automation APIs, and industrial communication interfaces

• Proficient in Git, CI/CD, unit testing, and test-driven software development

• Knowledge in containerization, Kubernetes, and modern web technologies for monitoring and diagnostics applications

• Understanding of semiconductor, lithography, inspection, or metrology processes as well as technical cleanroom requirements
