Senior Software Developer (m/f/d)

At acadon AG, you will work on our industry solution for the wood industry based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Your goal is to tangibly improve processes in production, trade, and logistics – practically, focused, and with real added value for our customers. You will be part of a well-coordinated team with clear responsibilities, contribute your experience and ideas where they have an impact, and develop modern, future-proof solutions without legacy ballast. You will work with current Business Central versions, contemporary tools (VS Code, AL, Git, CI/CD), and be supported in your daily work by GitHub Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot. Tasks

• Business Central Development: You will develop and implement features and extensions in AL for our industry solution based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Analysis & Solution Design: You will analyze customer and market requirements and translate them into sustainable, maintainable software solutions.
• Integration & Interfaces: You will design and realize the connection of third-party solutions and external systems to our platform.
• Quality & Stability: You will write clean, testable code, use unit and integration tests, and work with CI/CD pipelines to ensure high software quality.
• Agile Collaboration: If you are interested, you can increasingly contribute to our agile working methods – e.g., in Dailys, Sprint Planning, or Retrospectives – and provide methodological support to the team.
• Mentoring & Knowledge Transfer: If you enjoy sharing knowledge, you will have the opportunity to professionally guide junior developers or apprentices and pass on your experience.

Qualification

• Senior Developer Mindset: You are an experienced developer – with the drive to take responsibility and inspire others with your expertise.
• IT Background: You have completed vocational training in the IT sector and have experience in the ERP environment.
• MS Dynamics Pro: You are familiar with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly NAV/Navision) and development in AL.
• Quality Focus: Clean code, testing, and CI/CD are not buzzwords for you, but lived practice.
• Language Skills: You communicate confidently in English and German.
• Team Player: You work solution-oriented, efficiently, and with genuine team spirit.
