Senior Software Developer – Fullstack Java & Angular (m/f/d)

Your Role

As a Senior Software Developer at isento, you are an experienced and reliable team member in our projects. You are a developer through and through and accompany the entire development process: from the initial idea through implementation and testing to deployment and monitoring.

We don't have rigid hierarchies or lonely decisions in an ivory tower here: we decide technical issues together as a team. We are looking for someone with practical experience who thinks ahead, recognizes technical challenges early, and supports younger colleagues with advice and action in their daily work.

Your Tasks at isento

• As part of the team, you will develop modern software solutions for local clients or our in-house products based on Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.

• You will get hands-on with the entire stack and, depending on your personal inclination, contribute with a focus on either the backend or frontend.

• Together with your team, you will take responsibility for the entire development process and make pragmatic decisions with regard to actual needs, quality, risk, and economic benefit.

• Clean code, automated unit and integration tests, mutual code reviews, knowledge transfer, and pair programming are self-evident tools for you in your daily work.

• You will naturally use modern AI tools and coding agents to make your daily development work more efficient.

• You will support less experienced colleagues on an equal footing, gladly share your knowledge, and equally learn from others.

What You Bring With You

• You bring several years of sound project experience and know what is important for long-lasting and maintainable software.

• You are proficient in Java (Spring Boot) or modern web technologies (Angular) and are not afraid to get involved on the other side of the stack.

• You bring curiosity for related topics, whether it's database performance, cloud, DevOps pipelines, IT security, accessibility, or the targeted use of Generative AI.

• You don't just process tickets, but you think along, constructively question requirements, and always look for the best compromise between technical quality and genuine customer benefit.

• You are a down-to-earth team player who enjoys supporting junior developers on an equal footing and demonstrating best practices in everyday life.

• Proficient German language skills (at least B2) as well as good English for direct, collaborative exchange with our clients.
