Senior Software Developer – Fullstack Java & Angular (m/f/d)

Your Role

As a Senior Software Developer at isento, you are an experienced and reliable team member in our projects. You are a full-blooded developer and accompany the entire development process: from the initial idea through implementation and testing to deployment and monitoring.

We don't have rigid hierarchies or isolated decisions in an ivory tower: we decide technical issues together as a team. We are looking for someone with practical experience who thinks ahead, recognizes technical challenges early, and is there to support younger colleagues in their daily work with advice and action.

Your Tasks at isento

• In the team, you develop modern software solutions for local clients or our in-house products based on Java, Spring Boot, and Angular

• You get hands-on with the entire stack and contribute with a focus on either the backend or frontend, depending on your personal preference

• Together with your team, you take responsibility for the entire development process and make pragmatic decisions with a view to actual needs, quality, risk, and economic benefit

• Clean Code, automated unit and integration tests, mutual code reviews, knowledge transfer, and pair programming are self-evident tools for you in your daily work

• You naturally use modern AI tools and coding agents to make your daily development work more efficient

• You mentor less experienced colleagues at eye level, enjoy sharing your knowledge, and learn from others just as much

What You Bring With You

• You bring several years of in-depth project experience and know what is important for long-lasting and maintainable software

• You are proficient in Java (Spring Boot) or modern web technologies (Angular) and are not afraid to get your hands dirty on the other side of the stack

• You are curious about related topics, whether it's database performance, cloud, DevOps pipelines, IT security, accessibility, or the targeted use of Generative AI

• You don't just tick off tickets; you think along, constructively question requirements, and always look for the best compromise between technical quality and real customer benefit

• You are a down-to-earth team player who enjoys supporting junior developers at eye level and setting a good example with best practices in everyday work

• Proficient German language skills (at least B2) as well as good English for direct, partnership-based communication with our clients
