Job Description:
- The BI/Oracle Software Developer is responsible for developing business intelligence (BI) solutions, dashboards, and reports in a medium-to-large corporate environment.
- The role includes working with Azure data analytics tools, Oracle E-Business applications, and providing end-to-end support for BI solutions.
- The candidate will collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure high-quality reporting, data modeling, and analytics.
- Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
- Implement, maintain, and support BI solutions in Microsoft and other BI platforms.
- Work with Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Storage, ADF, and Azure Analysis Services.
- Perform data analysis, modeling, mining, cleansing, and reporting.
- Candidateage Power BI workspaces, report access, deployment, and best practices.
- Curate data from multiple sources for efficient enterprise reporting.
- Recommend improvements to data flow, data quality, and reporting processes.
- Document all data transformations and maintain "As Built" reports.
- Take ownership of end-to-end development of dashboards and reports.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BI solutions and Oracle E-Business applications.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams across the SDLC.
- Remain current with relevant BI and reporting technology developments.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, BI development, and reporting in medium-to-large corporate environments.
- Experience with Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Storage, ADF, Azure Analysis Services.
- Proficiency in designing and developing dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
- Implement, maintain, and support BI solutions in Microsoft and other BI platforms.
- Strong SQL and Power BI (Power Query, DAX, Power BI Services) skills.
- Experience with CRM systems.
- Experience with Transfer Payment Models.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business applications (GL, AR, Collections, AP, INV, FND).
- Experience with Oracle ADF, PL/SQL, SQL, XML, Unix shell scripting, and Oracle Data Integrator.
- Knowledge of data warehouses, ETL, OBIEE, and BI best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across IT and business teams.
- Experience with structured methodologies, programming, and application lifecycle management.
- Strong ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to conceptualize and present new ideas and solutions.
- Team player with demonstrated collaboration skills.
- Systematic problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Adaptable and able to work under aggressive timelines.
- Experience with CRM systems and Transfer Payment Models is an asset.
- Prior public sector experience is a plus.
