What awaits you:

• Conception and optimization of complex build and tooling landscapes for .NET and C++ development systems

• Analysis of compiler, linker, and build processes for performant, reproducible software releases

• Development of sophisticated MSBuild solutions with Custom Targets, Tasks, Multi-Targeting, and project dependencies

• Design and integration of COM-based interfaces as well as modern .NET Interop architectures

• Development of scalable gRPC service architectures for the communication of distributed applications and systems

• Creation of Roslyn analyzers and code-fix providers for automated enforcement of technical development standards

• Further development of CI/CD, build automation, and developer tooling, as well as support with complex technology questions

Certain professional and personal prerequisites are helpful for this position. The following requirements give you an overview of which experiences and characteristics are advantageous for this role.

What you should bring:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification, as well as several years of development experience

• Very good knowledge of C#, .NET, C++, and the Visual Studio toolchain

• Expert knowledge of MSBuild, compiler configuration, build optimization, and large software solutions

• Sound experience with COM, .NET Interop, marshaling, memory leaks, and threading issues

• Several years of experience with gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and distributed service and microservice architectures

• Practical experience with Roslyn, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, as well as automated build and release pipelines

• Experience with software architecture, platform engineering, legacy modernization, and technical support for development teams
