Senior Social Media Manager (m/f/d) - Limited to 2 Years

As a Senior Social Media Manager (m/f/d), you will take responsibility for the strategic and operational further development of our social media channels and brands. The position is limited to two years. You combine creative flair with a data-driven view of performance and develop content that excites our target groups and makes our brands visible on Instagram & TikTok.

• You will take independent responsibility for the management and further development of our social media channels and brands – from strategic direction and editorial planning to content production, community management, and reporting.
• You will develop creative social media concepts and content strategies that contribute to the respective brands, target groups, and business objectives.
• You will independently develop content ideas and formats and implement them from the initial idea to the final post.
• You are not just behind the camera but also confidently in front of the camera, producing authentic, platform-appropriate content for our social media channels.
• You will independently photograph, film, and edit images and videos related to our products for Instagram & TikTok.
• You keep an eye on current social media trends, formats, creators, and platform developments and assess which ones are relevant for our brands.
• You will analyze relevant social media KPIs and performance data, derive concrete learnings from them, and continuously optimize our content.
• You keep an eye on our competitors and the market and bring new impulses from them for our brands and their social media presence.
• You will continuously develop our brands on social media and ensure that tonality, look & feel, and content strategy are consistent.
• You will work closely with internal teams and external partners and actively contribute social media perspectives to cross-functional projects.
• You will take responsibility for your own projects and drive them forward independently – from conception to implementation and success measurement.
• You will lead and develop employees, provide feedback, support their development, and create the foundation for strong results together with the team.

• You have several years of professional experience in social media management, ideally on the client or agency side, and have already independently managed social media channels and brands.
• You are very familiar with Instagram and TikTok and know what makes good social content – from relevant trends to platform-specific formats.
• You have a strong feel for creative concepts, storytelling, trends, aesthetics, and target group-oriented content.
• You have experience in independently developing and implementing social media strategies and content concepts.
• You enjoy producing content yourself and have experience in photo and video production as well as editing, e.g., with CapCut, Canva, or Adobe Creative Cloud.
• You feel comfortable in front of the camera and are not afraid to produce content yourself and authentically present our products.
• You have a good understanding of social media KPIs and can analyze performance data, derive learnings, and develop concrete recommendations for future content from them.
• You have already gained initial leadership experience and enjoy supporting colleagues, delegating responsibility, and achieving results together.
• You work independently, structured, and solution-oriented and take responsibility for your projects.
• You are strong in communication, committed, and creative and enjoy contributing your own ideas and implementing them.
• You enjoy working cross-functionally and can inspire different stakeholders for your ideas.
• You possess excellent German skills in speaking and writing, as well as very good English skills.
• You live in Munich or the surrounding area; 100% remote is not possible.
