At the heart of Swile's growth, the Legal team is involved transversally in all key company issues. It supports teams on a daily basis with a strategic, pragmatic, and business-oriented approach, in order to secure business development while allowing for rapid progress.

💫 Your future missions

As a Social Law Counsel, you will play a central role in securing and facilitating day-to-day HR management.

Your role will be to make social law a lever for security, pragmatism, and operational efficiency for all our teams.
Reporting to the Director of Social Relations, and in coordination with the operational teams, you will be the legal safeguard capable of taking swift action as soon as the green light is given.

In this capacity, you will be notably in charge of:

  • Managing and securing individual cases (litigation and pre-litigation): Overseeing disciplinary procedures, dismissals (for personal reasons, misconduct, or professional insufficiency) from start to finish, as well as exit negotiations (mutual termination agreements, settlement agreements);

  • Being the key legal partner for HRBPs: Advising and supporting the HR team daily on all matters related to employment contract life (hires, end of probation periods, paid/maternity/paternity leave, sick leave, etc.);

  • Ensuring contractual follow-up: Securing and evolving contractual documentation (employment offers, employment contracts, addenda, information letters, disciplinary measures);

  • Managing activity with reactivity and proactivity: coordinating a varied portfolio of requests and cases, providing appropriate responses to daily solicitations, and concurrently managing about ten complex individual and litigation cases with high stakes.

  • Applying and enforcing the collective agreement framework: Ensuring the proper application of the Collective Agreement (SYNTEC) and current regulations across the entire individual scope.

    ✨ You recognize yourself in this position if you have…
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience as a Social Law Counsel, imperatively in a company (In-house experience);

  • Technical Expertise: Solid mastery of individual employment law (litigation, pre-litigation, dismissals, transactions) and ideally very good knowledge of the SYNTEC Collective Agreement;

  • Business-Oriented & Pragmatic: Ability to deliver reliable but realistic advice, adapted to the challenges on the ground and the HR department;

  • Writing Skills: Excellent legal writing skills for the rapid and flawless drafting of documents, contracts, addenda, and disciplinary letters;

  • Organization & Volume Management: Ability to prioritize, anticipate, and handle a large flow of daily questions while advancing substantial cases;

  • Position to be filled: Fixed-term contract (CDD) – Immediate availability / ASAP.
