Do you want to not only technically shape modern data platforms, but also actively manage demanding Snowflake projects, lead teams technically, and strategically advise clients in the banking environment?

Do you know Snowflake from practical experience, understand Data Platforms, Data Engineering, and Analytics not only technically, but also from a project, governance, and business perspective? Can you structure requirements, coordinate stakeholders, set priorities, and ensure that quality, timeline, and budget align?

Tasks

Your new challenge

• You advise our clients on the conception and implementation of modern data platform and analytics solutions based on Snowflake
• You analyze requirements and accompany our clients in the implementation of new requirements, including documentation. In doing so, you act as the interface between IT and business departments at the client's site.
• Technical leadership of project teams, streams, or sub-projects
• Management of the economic performance of projects, including resource planning, budget control, and profitability
• Support with project sourcing, pitches, and proposal processes
• Support with strategic client management and the expansion of our Snowflake and Data Consulting portfolio

Qualification

What you bring

• Completed studies in business administration, (business) computer science, or a comparable field with a high IT affinity.
• At least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering/Analytics Engineering/BI projects, ideally in Banking/Financial Services.
• Experience as a Project Manager and/or Team Manager
• Demonstrable practical experience in Snowflake: SQL, data modeling, security & RBAC, performance optimization, as well as experience with data lakes in Snowflake
• Knowledge of internal banking processes and products is an advantage.
• SnowPro certification (Core, Data Engineer or Specialty Gen AI) or knowledge of Snowflake Intelligence and Cortex AI is desirable.
• Dynamic, communicative, and self-reliant personality with strong analytical skills and a customer and results-oriented way of working.
• Entrepreneurial thinking, sense of responsibility, and a clear focus on quality, economic efficiency, and customer benefit
• Fluent German and English (Level C1), strong team player skills, as well as flexibility and willingness to travel.
