To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) - 100 % remote (w/m/d).

Aufgaben

• Mitverantwortung für die Systemverfügbarkeit: You actively contribute to the availability, reliability, and efficiency of our complex system architecture, consisting of approximately 50 servers at Hetzner.
• Wartung und Automatisierung: You support the maintenance and automation of our existing infrastructure, based on technologies such as Ubuntu, MySQL Percona Cluster, MinIO, Elasticsearch, Redis, NGINX, HAProxy, TiDB, Clickhouse, and Kubernetes. You bring your ideas for optimization.
• Monitoring und Analyse: You improve our monitoring strategies and conduct comprehensive error analyses. Your goal is to ensure that repeated errors are avoided and the systems always function optimally.
• Hohe Verfügbarkeit: You are willing to work at night in exceptional cases to ensure that our systems run smoothly. Your engagement for high availability is essential – you work hard to make such situations as rare as possible.

Qualifikation

• Software Entwicklung: Several years of experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Rust, Java, or Go) are necessary.
• Automatisierung: Good understanding of system automation and IT security.
  Systeme: Practical experience with some of the following systems: MySQL, Kubernetes, MinIO, and Elasticsearch
• Sprachkenntnisse: You communicate confidently in German and have good English skills.
• Persönliche Eigenschaften: Good analytical skills, paired with developed communication and presentation skills.
• Leidenschaft: Experience in participating in open-source technologies would be desirable
