The Tech Team of Schüttflix is growing! As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will design and maintain the reliability and scalability of our infrastructure actively - and drive innovation and operational excellence forward. You will work cross-functionally to bring our systems into alignment with our technical architecture goals.

Your Tasks

• Architecture: You define and live our technical standards. From architectural principles to long-term strategy. You support our Tech Teams hands-on, so that everyone is working towards the same goal.
• DevOps: Infrastructure-as-Code is not just a buzzword for you. You lead the way in automation and introduce tools and frameworks that make our platform reliable and scalable.
• Cloud Infrastructure: You are responsible for everything that keeps our infrastructure running. From AWS services to networks and DNS, to Terraform automation, Nomad, and Vault.
• Mentor/Sparring Partner: You are a mentor and sparring partner for our Senior Engineers and Tech Leads, focusing on system thinking and operational excellence.
• SLO & Reliability: Reliability is measurable to you. You develop and establish SLOs and metrics that help teams take responsibility for their services in production.

Your Profile

• Databases: Whether relational or NoSQL systems, you know how to design, optimize, and operate databases effectively.
• Code Crafter: You enjoy developing tools that help us be more effective.
• Mentoring: You bring experience in conducting technical projects and can guide us cross-functionally.
• Other: Nomad, Vault & Co. - You know the tools and use them effectively.
• Communication: From the Tech Team to management. You know how to communicate complex technical strategies.
