For an ambitious and growing digital marketing agency in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Senior SEO/GEO-specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for your own client portfolio and work together with an experienced team of specialists on challenging issues in the field of organic findability.

You will have a lot of freedom to organize your work independently, research new developments, and strategically contribute to the further growth of clients and the team.

What Will You Do?

As a Senior SEO/GEO-specialist, you will be responsible for the development and execution of SEO and GEO strategies for various clients. You will combine strategic insight with a strong analytical foundation and know how to turn opportunities into concrete results.

• You will develop and implement SEO and GEO strategies that increase organic findability in search engines and AI platforms.

• You will independently manage your own client portfolio and be the main point of contact for strategic issues.

• You will research and test new developments within Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI search.

• You will analyze data, identify growth opportunities, and translate insights into concrete optimizations.

• You will work closely with content and link building specialists and monitor strategy, quality, and progress.

• You will present results, advise clients proactively, and build long-term client relationships.

• You will share your knowledge and expertise with colleagues through training and knowledge sessions.

• You will contribute to new commercial opportunities and the further development of the Organic Search team.

What Do You Bring?

You are an experienced SEO specialist who can independently bear strategic responsibility. You closely follow developments in the field and find it interesting to discover new techniques and applications.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience within SEO.

• Up-to-date knowledge of search engine algorithms, SERP developments, and technical SEO.

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into strategic advice.

• Experience with client contact, project management, and guiding multiple clients.

• Interest in AI search and GEO and the motivation to be at the forefront of these developments.

• Good communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics understandably.

• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages.

• An independent, proactive, and entrepreneurial work attitude.

Experience within a marketing agency is a pré.
