You won't be managing 25 accounts in a blind flight. Instead, you'll work closely with selected clients, develop individual SEO strategies, and ensure that organic growth becomes measurable together with developers, copywriters, and designers.

In the coming months, we will focus even more on automation, AI-supported processes, and cross-channel collaboration to get the most out of every SEO strategy. Senior SEO Manager (m/f/d).

Tasks

Your Area of Responsibility

• You will manage existing and new clients holistically and develop sustainable SEO strategies with a clear focus on relevant business goals.
• SEO & GEO Strategy: You will conceptualize, develop, and manage technical, content-related, and strategic SEO and GEO measures to sustainably increase organic visibility – traditionally in search engines as well as in AI search systems and chatbots.
• Technical SEO: You will analyze crawling, indexing, and technical error sources and derive concrete optimization measures.
• Analyses & Reporting: You will create competitor, on-page, and keyword analyses, monitor relevant SEO metrics, and derive data-based recommendations for action.
• Team Enablement: You will support the training and further education of team members.
• Automation & AI: You will integrate automation workflows and AI tools into existing processes.

Qualification

Your Background

• At least five years of experience in the SEO and performance marketing environment.
• In-depth technical SEO knowledge as well as experience with crawling, indexing, and website architectures.
• Proficient in using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, as well as common SEO tools like Sistrix, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog.
• Experience with or strong interest in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) – you understand how LLMs crawl, evaluate, and cite content and ideally have knowledge of GEO monitoring tools (e.g., Peec AI, Sistrix AI Tracker, Ahrefs Brand Radar).
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of the interplay of different performance marketing channels.
• Outstanding analytical skills & combinatorial understanding of company-relevant metrics.
• Hands-on mentality & confident demeanor.
• Fluent German & English language skills.
