We're on a mission to redefine the customer experience, and we need a passionate Senior Security Systems Engineer to join our Professional Services team in VIC, NSW or ACT . The Senior Security Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems for our clients, ensuring their IT environments are secure and compliant with industry best practices. This role requires a deep understanding of security principles, network protocols, and security technologies. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, implement, and maintain security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions. * Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate risks. * Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards. * Monitor security systems and events to detect and respond to security incidents. * Provide technical support and guidance to clients on security-related matters. * Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies. * Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure a secure IT environment. * Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for security systems and procedures. * Participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning and execution. * Lead and mentor junior security engineers. **Skills and Experience:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. * 8+ years of experience in information security. * Strong understanding of security principles, network protocols, and security technologies. * Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM solutions. * Experience with security assessments and vulnerability testing. * Experience developing and implementing security policies and procedures. * Experience with incident response and disaster recovery. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable. **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Opportunity to work with cutting-edge security technologies. * Collaborative and supportive work environment. * Opportunities for professional development and growth. * Flexible work arrangements. * Generous Paid Time Off * Paid Parental Leave * Health and Wellness Programs * Employee Assistance Program If you are a highly motivated and experienced security professional looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
