Job Description: Senior Security Engineer Vulnerability & Exposure Management
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Engineer to join our team in the Vulnerability & Exposure Management department. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for identifying, classifying, and remediating vulnerabilities across our technology stack. This includes developing and maintaining tools, scripts, and processes to automate vulnerability scanning, reporting, and remediation. You will also work closely with other teams to ensure that our security posture is aligned with business objectives and that we are continuously improving our security practices.
This role requires a deep understanding of security principles, technologies, and best practices, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain tools, scripts, and processes to automate vulnerability scanning, reporting, and remediation.
- Identify, classify, and remediate vulnerabilities across our technology stack.
- Work closely with other teams to ensure that our security posture is aligned with business objectives and that we are continuously improving our security practices.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate security controls into software development life cycles.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including IT, compliance, and risk management teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our security posture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on vulnerability management and remediation.
- Strong understanding of security principles, technologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with automation tools such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Knowledge of cloud-based security platforms and services, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, or GDPR.
