Senior Security Engineer

The Company Our client is seeking a Senior Security Engineer (APAC) to strengthen application and engineering security across the region. This is a hands-on role focused on Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC), Application Security, DevSecOps, secure deployments, and advisory support aligned to ISO and NIST frameworks. The Role Drive and enhance Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices across engineering teams Embed security controls and best practices into all stages of the application development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including risk assessments, threat models, and mitigation strategies Provide expert-level guidance on secure coding practices, secure architecture, and secure deployment methodologies for various technologies and platforms Identify and prioritize security vulnerabilities in applications and systems Develop and implement effective incident response plans and procedures Conduct regular security audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve security practices and processes
