Senior Security Engineer

Job Description The Senior Security Engineer is a high-impact role focused on supporting and automating MX's security operations, with an emphasis on remediation activities, alert response, and maintaining security hygiene across cloud and on-premises environments. This is not just a 'response' role; you will implement scalable solutions that eliminate classes of vulnerabilities, automate remediation, and empower our engineering teams to move fast without compromising security. This position contributes to the development of MX's overall security strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize security initiatives. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive security program that includes threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response. Your expertise in security engineering will enable you to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment between security goals and business objectives. The ideal candidate has experience in security operations, automation, and remediation, as well as strong understanding of cloud and on-premises security architectures. You should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks based on risk and impact, and communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
