Job description

Job Title: Senior Security Analyst (L3 / Threat Lead) Department: Security Operations Center (SOC) / CSIRT Location: Delhi Shift Model: 24x7 Operations Candidates from in and around Delhi alone are preferred Role Overview The Senior Security Analyst (L3 / Threat Lead) serves as the highest technical escalation point within the SOC and leads advanced threat detection, incident response, and threat intelligence functions. This role is responsible for investigating sophisticated cyber threats including but not limited to malware, APTs, and nation-state sponsored attacks. The incumbent will be expected to develop and maintain a deep understanding of various attack vectors, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by attackers. He/She will also be responsible for developing and maintaining threat intelligence feeds, identifying and mitigating potential threats, and providing strategic guidance to the team on threat hunting and incident response. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Key Responsibilities: • Investigate sophisticated cyber threats including but not limited to malware, APTs, and nation-state sponsored attacks. • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of various attack vectors, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by attackers. • Develop and maintain threat intelligence feeds. • Identify and mitigate potential threats. • Provide strategic guidance to the team on threat hunting and incident response. • Collaborate with other teams to identify and address security gaps. • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of cybersecurity. • Participate in regular meetings with stakeholders to provide updates on threat intelligence and mitigation efforts. • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies, industry partners, and other organizations. • Provide training and guidance to junior analysts on threat hunting and incident response techniques. • Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to cybersecurity. • Participate in regular meetings with the team to discuss ongoing projects and share knowledge. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in security operations center (SOC) or similar environment. • Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Strong understanding of various attack vectors, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by attackers. • Experience with threat intelligence feeds and ability to develop and maintain them. • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to cybersecurity. • Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) systems and security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools. • Ability to stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of cybersecurity.
