Senior Security Analyst for Detection Engineering

Senior Security Analyst (Detection & Response) Location: Remote Cooperation: B2B / Contract About the Role We are looking for a Senior Security Analyst to lead threat detection, incident response, and phishing analysis. The role involves optimizing detection rules, managing CrowdStrike alerts, and collaborating with security and IT teams to strengthen overall security posture. Responsibilities Analyze and respond to CrowdStrike and SIEM incidents Investigate and remediate phishing tickets, ideally with experience using PhishMe or similar platforms. Enhance and maintain detection rules within the SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, or similar). Develop and document incident response playbooks and procedures. Participate in incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery. Conduct proactive threat hunting activities to identify and mitigate potential threats. Perform security assessments and vulnerability analysis. Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to improve security configurations and practices. Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices. Requirements 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on threat detection and incident response. Strong understanding of security principles, network protocols, and common attack vectors. Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar). Experience with EDR tools (e.g., CrowdStrike). Experience with phishing analysis and remediation. Experience with incident response methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
