We are looking for a Senior SAP Reporting Business Analyst (m/w/d) to support a project in the area of reporting solutions (SAP BO/BI) for a well-known financial institution. The position requires an interface function between departments and IT, with deep knowledge of banking and high technical SAP expertise.

Your Tasks

• Independent IT analysis of technical and regulatory requirements

• Identification of the effects of technical requirements or regulatory changes on operational and dispositional IT systems

• Conducting requirement management, including independent analysis, structuring, and coordination with various departments

• Independent creation and documentation of technical requirements, for example, through the creation of concept papers

• Creation of a migration scenario from SAP CML to FRDP

• Transferring technical requirements into IT-oriented concepts

• Customizing SAP modules, particularly conceiving and implementing effective interest calculation and amortization in an ABAP-based calculation tool

• Determining target values for side accounting in SAP sAFI

• Analysis and implementation of HANA views to build payment stream views as well as modeling financial transactions in SAP HANA and ETL

• Technical guidance on IT implementation, including quality assurance and consulting

• Independent preparation, execution, and documentation of technical acceptance tests

• Independent preparation and accompaniment of the rollout of IT systems or changes to existing systems

• Independent creation of application documentation, for example, in PowerDesigner, as well as conducting training sessions

Must-Requirements

• Approximately 7-10 years of relevant experience in the banking sector

• Fundamentally knowledgeable about requirement analysis, including identification, structuring, and preparation

• Experience in methodologically supported business process analysis, for example, according to BPMN

• Proven competence in data modeling according to best-practice standards

• Security in creating structured documentation such as specifications or guidelines

• Experience in designing management information systems

• Very good technical knowledge of several of the following SAP components: S4/HANA, BW, AFI/FPSL, FRDP, FSDP/FSDM, Digital Access, and PowerDesigner

• Fundamentally experienced in SAP customization as well as handling HANA permissions (privileges and roles)

• Very good banking knowledge in at least one of the following areas: accounting, reporting, business partners, data warehouse, or credit financing

• Basic knowledge of partial project leadership for smaller and medium-sized projects
