Senior SAP IS-U Consultant (m/f/d) Energy Data Management – Building a New EDM Team

As the field of Energy Data Management (EDM) continues to gain importance, we are building our own EDM team completely from scratch. As a (Senior) SAP IS-U Consultant (m/f/d) Energy Data Management, you will be the reliable point of contact for our clients on all EDM-related issues – while also playing a central role in the structural and functional development of the new team. With the option for a later team lead role.
And all of this completely remote – with maximum flexibility.

Your Responsibilities:

• Consulting for our German and European clients in the energy sector on all matters related to Energy Data Management (EDM) in SAP IS-U and SAP S/4HANA Utilities.

• You analyze, standardize, and further develop EDM-relevant processes – from meter readings to profiles to balancing.

• You support our clients in migrating from SAP IS-U to SAP S/4HANA Utilities and accompany them through all phases of the transformation.

• Participation in current topics in the energy industry, including regulatory changes (MaBiS/GaBi).

• You create requirement concepts, design solutions, lead their implementation, and organize workshops and training sessions.

• You actively participate in the development of the new EDM team: knowledge building, defining structures, developing standards.

• As a member of our team, you are also part of the SAP Utilities Enablement Community, where you develop new solutions for the energy industry together with us and other partners.

• You take responsibility for subject matter expertise and mentor your colleagues as a mentor.

Your Profile:

• You have successfully completed your studies or vocational training in a commercial or technical field.

• Through your work in the energy sector, you are familiar with the processes of energy suppliers.

• In the last 3-4 years, you have already gained experience and expertise in the configuration, implementation, and further development of SAP IS-U systems, with a focus on Energy Data Management (EDM).

• Initial experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities is desirable.

• Ideally, you also have foundational knowledge in IT project management and experience with an object-oriented programming language such as ABAP or Java.

• You speak German at a high or native level and fluent English, enabling you to interact confidently with our clients.
