Senior SAP IS-U ABAP Application Developer - Product Development (m/f/d)

As a Senior SAP IS-U ABAP Application Developer (m/f/d), you will shape the future of our product family and the Natuvion DCS (Data Conversion Suite) transformation platform in the content area, with a focus on the utility industry. You will contribute your knowledge of SAP IS-U and SAP S/4HANA Utilities to our migration templates and work closely with our project business in data transformation and migration, as well as with our partners.

Your Tasks:

• You will actively work on the design, development, and enhancement of our services in the DCS Migrate Content area for SAP IS-U / S/4HANA Utilities.

• You will conceptualize, develop, and implement new migration templates for central utilities objects, e.g., Business Partner, Contract Account, Installation, Premise, Meter Reading Unit, Devices, as well as Billing and FI-CA data.

• You will improve existing functionalities: You will identify optimization potential, fix bugs, implement product requirements, and thus ensure the quality of our IS-U templates.

• You will transfer solutions from utilities migration projects into product design and templates.

• You will continuously monitor the security and performance of the solutions, even with large data volumes in typical utility landscapes, and intervene quickly if necessary.

• You will support colleagues in project business with your IS-U expertise.

Your Profile:

• You have a completed degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable qualification.

• You have experience in SAP ABAP development, ideally also in an object-oriented language (ABAP OO or Java).

• You have extensive technical experience in SAP IS-U or SAP S/4HANA Utilities and are familiar with the data model and processes of the utility industry.

• Experience in the field of (SAP) data migration, and especially in table-based data migration, is an advantage.

• You work in a structured manner and think analytically and solution-oriented.

• You enjoy working in a team and want to continuously develop yourself.

• You communicate confidently in German and English.
