SAP ABAP Developer (m/w/d) – Focus on SAP Central Procurement

Germany | Remote / Hybrid possible | Full-time

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer (m/w/d) with focus on SAP Central Procurement, who supports customers in complex transformation and rollout projects.

Our client accompanies national and international companies in the digitalization and optimization of their procurement and business processes. The focus of this position is on the technical implementation, further development, and integration of SAP Central Procurement solutions within complex SAP landscapes.

Tasks

• Development and further development of solutions in the context of SAP Central Procurement
• Analysis, taking up, and aligning of professional requirements with customers and departments
• Technical conception and implementation of integration scenarios between SAP Central Procurement and connected ERP systems
• Development and adaptation of applications based on ABAP/4 and ABAP Objects
• Support in SAP S/4HANA transformation and rollout projects with a focus on central procurement processes
• Implementation and optimization of interfaces as well as integration scenarios
• Development and expansion of SAP Fiori applications and modern user interfaces
• Analysis and optimization of procurement, procurement, and material management processes
• Conducting tests, error analysis, and technical documentation
• Closely working with SAP consultants, departments, and project teams

Qualification

• Degree in (Business) Informatics or comparable qualification
• Multiple years of experience in SAP development with ABAP/4 and ABAP OO
• Practical experience in projects with SAP Central Procurement or central procurement processes
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA as well as integration scenarios between SAP systems
• Experience with SAP Fiori, OData, CDS Views, WebDynpro or comparable SAP technologies advantageous
• Understanding of procurement, procurement, and material management processes
• Self-motivated and structured working style
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Good German and English language skills
