Senior SAP Banking & HGB Consultant (m/f/d) (Ref.Nr.: 46744)

We are looking for a senior consultant (m/w/d) for a project at a well-known public-law credit institution to support the areas of reporting, accounting, and credit business. The focus lies on analyzing and conceptualizing professional and regulatory requirements within the framework of an SAP system landscape.

Your Tasks
• Analysis and conceptualization of professional and regulatory requirements in the areas of reporting (BAIS), accounting (HGB, balance sheet reporting, SAP valuation topics, cost accounting, bank planning), credit business, and risk analysis (credit risk analysis, rating, address default risk)
• Creation of concepts regarding professional and technical requirements, particularly for the reconciliation of performance settlement accounts in connection with future debtors and creditors
• Conducting tests of implemented requirements and documenting test results
• Documentation of relevant defined processes
• Knowledge transfer to internal employees and conducting training sessions and workshops
Must Requirements
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in the banking sector
• At least 3 years of relevant project experience, including conceptualization, documentation, testing, recording, and reporting
• At least 4 years of practical experience in preparing annual financial statements under HGB (monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements) using SAP
• Very good professional knowledge in at least one of the areas: reporting, risk controlling, accounting, back office (operations), credit business or support
• Very good professional knowledge in at least one of the following systems: SAP S/4HANA (FI, CO, MM, BP), SAP AFI/FPSL, SAP FRDP, FSDP/FSDM, SAP CML/CMS or BAIS
• Fundamentally sound SAP expertise for project support
Can Requirements
• Advanced knowledge in balance sheet valuation topics such as impairment, fair value determination and hedge accounting under SAP
• Experience in the area of program credits and credit business
• Experience in conducting training sessions, workshops, and knowledge transfer to internal employees
• Knowledge in conceptualizing the reconciliation of performance settlement accounts (debitors/creditors)
Further Information
The performance can largely take place remotely with occasional meetings in Frankfurt am Main.
