Senior SAP Backend-Developer and Architect (m/w/d) (Ref.Nr.: 46293)

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP BW4HANA Backend Developer (m/w/d) to support a large-scale agile project in the field of digital maintenance of railway infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing SAP backend solutions as well as accompanying migration processes on SAP BW/4HANA within a SAFe framework.

Your Tasks
• Providing technical support for preparing and conducting the migration and follow-up work from SAP BW on Hana to SAP BW/4HANA
• Implementing applications based on technologies such as SAP R/3, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, JavaScript, ABAP, SQLScript, and SAP HANA-native architecture
• Providing technical support and consulting for new technology solutions (SAP BW/4HANA, SAP SAC)
• Collecting and qualifying technical and business requirements from the client
• Creating IT concepts in the project context
• Providing technical support for requirement workshops with functional and IT departments of internal partners
• Estimating effort for the technical solution in the project, as well as its implementation
• Correcting errors in applications/components
• Conducting reviews of design, code, and tests
• Creating system documentation
• Creating delivery packages for the relevant applications

Mandatory Requirements
• At least 5 years of practical experience in backend development with ABAP/CDS-Views within the last 5 years, verifiable in the CV
• At least 5 years of experience in backend development with SQLScript within the last 5 years, documented in the experience level
• At least 5 years of experience as Implementation Lead in the field of maintenance (Transport & Logistics) in the context of frontend and backend development within the last 5 years
• At least 5 years of experience in software architecture management in the field of maintenance in the context of SAP BW4HANA and BTP within the last 5 years
• German language skills at level C1

Desirable Requirements
• At least 5 years of experience in software development with SAP SAC, verifiable in the CV
• Proof of at least 3 references presenting complex issues to top management level
• Methodological competence and experience with agile process models such as SCRUM or SAFe, documented through at least 3 project references in the CV

Further Information
The primary deployment location is Frankfurt am Main. The performance delivery will take place within an agile SAFe construct, with a nearshore option for implementation planned.
