We are looking for a Senior SAP Developer to support the expansion of SAP business partner systems and the implementation of interface extensions for a sanctions screening tool at a financial institution.

Your tasks

• Designing the corresponding programming requirements

• Programming and database modeling in relation to the project

• Conducting IT application programming in ABAP/object-oriented ABAP

• Conducting component and component integration tests (developer tests)

• Creating the corresponding program documentation

• Creating the corresponding operational documentation in collaboration with the IT analyst

Must-have requirements

• Completed university degree in business administration, economics, mathematics, computer science, or a comparable education

• Approximately 7-10 years of relevant work experience in the banking sector

• Minimum 4-year project experience in an SAP implementation project or a comparable system environment

• In-depth knowledge of extending the SAP business partner using the XO framework

• In-depth programming skills in ABAP and ABAP OO, particularly in the area of reporting and dialog processing

• Very good knowledge of several SAP components such as S4/HANA (FI, FI-AA, FI-AR, FI-AP, CO, MM, BP), BW, BO/BI, AFI/FPSL, FRDP, FSDP/FSDM, CML/CMS, and Fiori

• Notable development experience in the SAP GP environment under S/4

• Deep knowledge of the financial database's data warehouse and HANA database

• High analytical and conceptual skills as well as experience in creating IT concepts

• In-depth experience in testing SAP developments and handling HANA permissions (privileges and roles)

• Experience in performing migration tasks

• Secure handling of the ABAP Workbench and the SAP Solution Manager, particularly the SAP transport system

• Very good knowledge of SAP job control, especially in customizing and BDT control of the SAP business partner

• Good knowledge of common tools for versioning, release management, and build management

• Very good German language skills in writing and speaking

• Routine handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Might-have requirements

• Good English language skills in writing and speaking

• Completed training or certification as an ABAP developer

• Basic knowledge of partial project leadership for smaller and medium-sized projects

Further information

The project deployment is planned for initially 4 months with a scope of 42 person-days, with the option to extend. The start date will be immediately after contract award. The deployment location will be determined by the parties involved.
