Senior SAP ABAP Developer – Maintenance & Service (SAP CS/PM, Fiori) (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

You will work in agile SAP projects for large corporations, with a focus on maintenance and service. You will further develop the existing SAP landscape and technically implement requirements.

• Analyze functional and technical requirements and derive solutions
• Develop and further develop SAP applications with ABAP and ABAP OO, including BAdIs and the Enhancement Framework
• Further develop processes in SAP Service (CS or S/4HANA Service) and SAP PM/EAM, such as notifications, maintenance orders, confirmations, and equipment processes
• Implement interfaces with OData, RFC, IDoc, REST/SOAP, or SAP Gateway
• Adapt Fiori applications and CDS Views, analyze errors in the backend
• Connect forms, business workflow, or SAP DMS, perform unit and integration tests, document technically

The assignments are predominantly remote. Customer appointments are usually in Frankfurt, on occasional on-site days.

Where you will land

Depending on the project, with large corporations, in the public sector, or with enterprise and medium-sized clients. Our clients fill these projects almost exclusively with permanent employees. That's why we are looking for you on a permanent basis.

What you bring

We expect:

• More than five years of SAP development with ABAP and ABAP OO, plus BAdIs and Enhancement Framework
• More than three years with SAP Service (CS or CRM Service) and integration with SAP PM/EAM
• More than three years with SAP interfaces, including OData
• More than three years with SAP Fiori, OData services, and CDS Views
• Project experience with forms, Business Workflow, or SAP DMS

Advantageous (not a must):

• SAP CRM Web Client UI
• Experience with maintenance or service processes in rail transport or with infrastructure operators
• Experience in agile projects with Scrum or SAFe

Project language is German

You will work in the client's team, in German, in meetings and in documentation. We expect German at C1 level or better.
