(Senior) SAP ABAP Developer / Architect – Data Management & ILM (m/f/d)

As part of our Data Management & Retirement Services Team, you will work on exciting customer projects, shape technical solution architectures, and guide our customers on their journey into a modern SAP landscape.

We are looking for you as a Senior SAP ABAP Developer / Architect – Data Management & ILM (m/f/d) – with real scope for design and diverse projects related to data management, SAP ILM, and digital transformation.

Your Tasks:

• Customizing & Development: You develop customer-specific solutions in the area of SAP ILM and data management.

• Technical Expertise: You implement compliance and ILM requirements, conduct technical analyses, and realize in-house developments.

• Solution Architecture & Consulting: You design technical solution architectures in the area of SAP Data Management and ILM and advise customers on the implementation of complex transformation and compliance requirements.

• Reporting & Programs: You create and optimize reports and programs related to data protection, data volume management, and data assessment.

• Data Cleansing & Volume Management: You cleanse and optimize data inventories, ensure high data quality, and support projects with the decommissioning, archiving, and unloading of existing systems.

• Workshops & Training: If necessary, you will support and conduct workshops and training sessions to share your knowledge in data management.

Your Profile:

• Professional Qualification: You have a completed degree, for example in (Business) Informatics or a STEM field, or a comparable qualification.

• SAP Expertise: You have in-depth experience in SAP ABAP development and are comfortable working in complex SAP system landscapes.

• Project Experience: Complex requirements do not intimidate you – quite the opposite: You have already successfully implemented SAP projects and have experience in developing individual solutions for customers.

• Technical Understanding: Data structures, data models, tables, and SQL are part of your daily toolkit. You understand business processes and can confidently apply technical and functional concepts.

• Work Style: You think analytically, act solution-oriented, and have a strong service mentality. Independence and creativity are part of your work style.

• Communication: You are a team player with strong communication skills – both in German and English. You enjoy direct exchange with customers and colleagues.
