Senior Business Analyst | Risk | Compliance | Financial Crime | Auckland | Contract
This is a high-impact role, working closely with the Executive Team and Senior Leaders to scope and prioritise workstreams that align with regulatory requirements and organisational goals.
Role
As part of the Risk Transformation team you will lead a scoping exercise to clarify programme requirements, priorities, and interdependencies. This is a relational role, requiring strong stakeholder engagement and analytical skills to synthesise complex information and support decision-making.

Role
As part of the Risk Transformation team you will lead a scoping exercise to clarify programme requirements, priorities, and interdependencies. This is a relational role, requiring strong stakeholder engagement and analytical skills to synthesise complex information and support decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and planning sessions with Senior Leaders and Managers
- Analyse existing workstreams to identify interdependencies, commonalities, and sequencing
- Map regulatory requirements
- Develop a prioritisation framework
- Deliver insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and operational uplift
- Maintain a “light touch” approach with your busy stakeholders while ensuring sufficient detail for informed decision-making
- Support Big Room Planning and contribute to programme clarity and alignment
- Collaborate closely with the Risk Transformation team
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in AML, Financial Crime, or Risk domains
- Strong understanding of regulatory environments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
- Ability to synthesise complex data and present actionable insights
- Experience working in transformation programmes or operational uplift initiatives
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, multi-stream environment with evolving priorities
