We are more than a classic insurance broker! As part of Risk Partners Technology, you will shape solutions with us as a Senior Risk Advisor, precisely where our clients need them. Together with the founders, you will take strategic responsibility for consulting and program design for our technology clients – Cyber, D&O, and Tech E&O risks are at the core. If you have experience from other industry sectors, we will gladly teach you the specialized tools.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of Tech Risks – Identification, assessment, and quantification along the growth phase (startup to large enterprise) as well as advising our clients
• Conception of Insurance Solutions – Development of tailor-made, scalable concepts including layer structures, limits, sub-limits, and clause negotiations
• Comparison and evaluation of policy wordings as well as active participation in shaping our broker wordings
• Broking & Marketplace Placement – Management of the placement process: preparing tenders, creating tender sheets, evaluating offers, negotiating coverage concepts, and preparing them for presentation
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with (specialty) insurers and reinsurers – nationally and internationally
• Client Consulting & Support – Sparring partner for questions regarding risk and insurance strategy
• Claims & Incident Support – Support in case of claims and coordination between clients, insurers, and external service providers
• Technical Mentor Role – Passing on your expertise within the team and actively contributing to the further development of our consulting standards

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Law, or comparable qualification
• Sound, multi-year experience (typically 7+ years) in risk management, underwriting, or broking at a senior level, ideally with a focus on industrial or technology clients
• Strong analytical skills, high affinity for numbers, data, and complex issues, as well as a structured, self-reliant way of working
• High level of personal responsibility, proactivity, and enjoyment of a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with fast decision-making processes
• Strong customer and service orientation, assertiveness, and negotiation skills
• Proficient use of policy administration systems and standard office applications, as well as openness to using AI applications for process and project optimization
• Strong communication skills in spoken and written language to present complex issues comprehensibly and interact confidently with founders, tech teams, management, and insurers
• Fluent German and English language skills
