(Senior) Revenue Operations Manager (all genders) (2)
Job description
As a (Senior) Revenue Operations Manager, you will build the operational GTM backbone: HubSpot as the central revenue platform, automated sales processes, and the interface between Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
Your tasks
HubSpot Ownership & Development: HubSpot is our central revenue platform, and you are responsible for everything behind it: data model, custom objects, pipelines, lifecycle stages, properties, workflows, and dashboards. You won't be building from scratch, but rather specifically improving what's already in place – and recognizing where the setup reaches its limits.
Connecting PLG and Sales-Assist: Small businesses complete their purchases with us through self-service, and from a certain size onwards, Sales gets involved. You will build the bridge between both motions: a PQL model that makes genuine purchase interest visible, clean transitions to personal support, and reporting that evaluates both motions separately.
Automation & Integrations: You will identify manual bottlenecks in Sales, CS, and Support – lead routing, tasks, handoffs, notifications – and automate them. This includes interfaces to our product, the data warehouse, and the GTM stack: custom integrations via APIs, reverse ETL routes, and automations in n8n.
Revenue Processes along the Customer Lifecycle: From lead capture through scoring and routing to the transition into the sales team, and further through onboarding, adoption, expansion, and renewal. You will think about the process across departmental boundaries and coordinate it between Marketing, Sales, and CS.
Reliable Data, Reporting & Forecasting: You will ensure clean, consistent data and establish recurring data hygiene routines. Based on this, you will build dashboards and KPIs that serve as a genuine management basis – so that leadership can rely on the forecast instead of correcting it based on gut feeling.
AI in Revenue Operations: We already handle parts of our RevOps work using AI: Claude with MCP connection to HubSpot, n8n, and our warehouse. You will drive this forward – where does an agent replace a manual process, and where does AI output need a check before it goes live?
Enablement & Central Point of Contact: You will be the central point of contact for all HubSpot and Revenue Operations questions. You will document, build playbooks, train the team, and ensure that the systems not only exist but are also used.
What you bring
Min. 2 years of experience in Revenue/Sales Operations: Ideally in a SaaS company with a growing GTM motion. What matters is not your tenure, but that you have demonstrably made processes significantly better, rather than just managing them.
Profound HubSpot Expertise: You know HubSpot not just as a user, but as a builder: data model, custom objects and associations, pipelines, workflows, properties, reporting. You know where the native platform ends and where you need your own solutions.
Automation, Integrations & Process Design: You have demonstrably automated manual workflows and connected systems via APIs. Webhooks, custom integrations, and automation platforms like n8n, Make, or Zapier are part of your toolkit – but you also know when native built-in tools are the better answer.
Data & Analytics Competence: You recognize data quality gaps before they become a problem and translate numbers into clear statements.
Solid understanding of B2B SaaS and GTM: Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support: You understand the mechanics, not just the terminology. You can describe a sales cycle, know what makes a forecast reliable, and recognize why a process that works on paper fails in a salesperson's daily routine.
Curiosity for AI in Ops daily work: You have already used AI – HubSpot's own features, Claude or ChatGPT for analysis, documentation, and data preparation, or AI building blocks in n8n. Nobody expects five years of experience here. We are interested in what you have tried yourself: MCP servers, agents, small tools in the evening because it interests you.
Hands-on mentality & Self-responsibility: You are comfortable working when there is no ready-made playbook, you roll up your sleeves and don't wait to be told how to do things.
Structured, clear communication skills: Very good German and good English, both written and spoken. You engage different stakeholders and bring discussions to a conclusion instead of letting them go in circles.
A clear plus, but not a must: You have experienced Product-Led Growth and Direct Sales side-by-side before – PQLs, self-service conversion, sales-assist handoffs, expansion from product usage. Additionally: SQL, experience with product data integrations, HubSpot certifications (Sales/Marketing/Operations Hub).
